The man who made 60 Minutes a television success died last night at age 93. Mike Wallace was an American broadcast pioneer and a journalism Superstar.

CBS TV plans to acknowledge Mr. Wallace’s death on “60 Minutes” on Sunday night, but programming was delayed by MASTERS golf championship playoffs. Network officials now plan to dedicate a special 60 Minutes edition to celebrate the life of Mike Wallace on April 15.

The one-week postponement will give CBS more time to prepare a very special program for this TV icon.

It's Not Very Neighborly to:

Hire workers who make costly mistakes, or contractors who take dangerous steps, or illegal actions; Neighbors who don't pay their fair share of their condo fees, or contribute with their annual assessments; Anyone who speeds, drives while inebriated, screams obscenities, allows their pets to become a neighborhood nuisance, becomes loud at all hours of the day and night, slams doors, or makes loud noises while decent folks are trying to go about their daily lives.

No, there is nothing wrong with your picture. Do not move your television antenna.

NY Mets are now 3-0 and NY Yankees 0-3. Could this possibly be a sign of future things to come? Most Mets fans would probably want to end the baseball season now.

New York Yankees - On the plus side: If there is a plus side to losing three games in a row, last time Yankees opened a season 0-3 was 1998. All they did that year was win 114 regular-season games and the World Series.

Time will tell... Play ball!

A couple of dozen locals gathered at Pelham Cemetery very early this morning for the annual City Island Easter Sunday Sunrise Celebration.

This informal ecumenical meeting was organized by Trinity United Methodist Church of City Island. Their Pastor, the Reverend Ezra Hongchang Yew and George Cavalieri led the prayer services to celebrate the hope and joy of Easter.

Mother nature provided wonderful weather and the City Island sunrise was truly spectacular, as the group prayed and sang religious hymns to celebrate the risen Christ.

Aaron sets new home run record. Hank Aaron of the Atlanta Braves hits his 715th career home run, breaking Babe Ruth's legendary record of 714 homers. 53,775 people, the largest in the history of Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium, was there that night to cheer when Aaron hit a 4th inning pitch off the Los Angeles Dodgers' Al Downing. However, as Aaron was an African American who had received death threats and racist hate mail during his pursuit of one of baseball's most distinguished records, the achievement was bittersweet.
