Indianapolis, the site of the next Superbowl XLVI is hosting both teams now as the NY Giants have finally arrived there for the greatest show in USA this coming Sunday.

Meanwhile, New England Patriots’ star QB has appeared on the cover of the Jan. 25 issue of Sports Illustrated, hitting the streets today. This is not his first time, Tom Brady has been on about 15 covers of Sports Illustrated, but if you’re the superstitious type, this poor timing couldn't have come at a worse moment.

Bronx Borough President Diaz is a happy politician these days. The reason is because New York's State Assembly has proposed a bill increasing the minimum wage

“I strongly support Speaker Sheldon Silver, Assembly Member Keith Wright and the entire New York State Assembly in their proposal to raise the State’s minimum wage to $ 8.50 an hour. If passed, this bill will represent a positive step towards changing the life of working families in our City.

The Foundations Student Internship Program, recognized as one of the countrys top programs, provides more than 40 internships within the entertainment industry to undergraduate and graduate students from across the country. RFK Bridge Traffic Related News

The Robert F. Kennedy Bridge's Harlem River Lift Span will be closed to all traffic between 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM tomorrow, Monday, January 30th for necessary maintenance work. Motorists are advised to use the Willis Avenue Bridge as an alternate route during this closure. WAB is free, so save yourself the fee.

Tougher Penalties for Thefts in Religious Institutions

A rash of break-ins and burglaries targeting houses of worship, prompted NY State Senator Jeffrey D. Klein (D-Bronx/Westchester) to announce legislation, which stiffens criminal penalties for those who steal, or damage items and property in churches, synagogues and other religious institutions.

This recent crime spree includes: In the Waterbury-LaSalle Community, Our Lady of Assumption Roman Catholic Church parishioners noticed a laptop and approximately $400 were stolen from their school. Additionally, a door leading to the chapel was broken.
