Cinema Sex

Submitted by ub on

Beware... It's a jungle out there, with increasing sex scenes being peddled by the film industry. CITY IMAGES found a series of major motion pictures that walk a fine line for the censors. Some of these date back a half century.

The moral lobby of politicians, parents, priests and pundits might not stem the flow of sex on the big screen but the advertising lobby certainly can. In the meantime, these are some sexually provocative films we have identified that will make you feel like taking a cold shower, or perhaps something more daring afterwards.

We Don't Need No Education?

According to Chronicle conducted research, Donald J. Trump has discussed higher-education policy sparingly. That tendency has largely continued since his inauguration as President Trump and appears to be shared by Betsy DeVos, his Cabinet member and Secretary of Education. http://www.chronicle.com

October 13, 2016: Mr. Trump gives his most substantive speech on higher education, at a rally in Columbus, Ohio, where he suggests his own income-based repayment plan, and says he will “reconsider” tax-exempt endowments.

Don't Be Fooled

Please... don't be fooled by the lies, false accusations without proof, and outrageous comments. None of this is designed to make America great, but it can be a political smokescreen to take our attention away from important issues that our country faces.

Truth be told, I did not write all of this... These thoughts and ideas come from me and a variety of social media platforms and through shared circles.

Empathy Education

Always Listen, Open Up, Offer Affection, Focus Outward, Withhold Judgement, Offer Help.

Become Interested, Volunteer and Help, Challenge Prejudices, Use Imagination, and Respect.

Do not get discouraged, showing empathy takes repetition to make it a habit.

Avoid "why" questions because this comes across as accusatory.

Others can see through insincerity and your relationship could end.

MEDIA MANIPULATOR

The media is best when it offers unbiased news and rarely views in editorials. It should also be from all angles and on every media platform and format available. However, today's media is in a state of confusion because the medium did not see any of this coming. Trust me, I'm not lying. The Donald has managed to trump the media and continues to get away with it each and every day.

An Oxford University Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism research finds that when it comes to news, young people prefer social media over TV.

The report found that 28 percent of adults aged 18 to 24 use social media as their main source of news, compared to 24 percent for TV.

This is the first time social media has overtaken TV in the Reuters Institute’s report history, which has been conducted yearly since 2011.

About half or 44 percent say they used Facebook for news. The runner-up was YouTube, at only 19 percent.
