Inspiration Aspiration Motivation

These important words, inspiration and aspiration, and motivation are different and distinct. They are often used interchangeably, but should never be.

The reason why I bring it up at this time is that as schools are wrapping up one of the most difficult academic years ever, it is time to reflect and learn the difference between them.

It is important to draw a clearer distinction. Inspiration is the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something.

GOP Neanderthals?

Neanderthals are believed to be an extinct species or perhaps a subspecies of archaic humans who once lived on earth until about 40K years ago, according to published data from Wikipedia.

They reportedly became extinct due to assimilation into the modern human genome, great climatic change, disease, or perhaps a strange combination of all of the factors listed.

Species: neanderthalensis

Start spreading the news. NYC bars, restaurants, and tourist sites will have a full reopening on July 1, Mayor Bill de Blasio said.

"We are ready to bring New York City back fully on July 1st, all systems go, because you've earned it," The Mayor said that Broadway shows might take more time because they had been aiming for a September return, but that "some of the smaller, more intimate shows, we might be looking more like July, August, and we'll move heaven and earth to help them get that done."

Bring the kids for 30 minutes of laughing exercises and breathing techniques, which is scientifically shown to increase happiness levels, reduce anxiety, and improve overall brain health and function.

This class is ideal for 4-10-year-olds, but adults and pets are welcome.  Laughter is universal and available for everyone to enjoy. Although the class is free, tips are welcome. If the weather is torrential, a Zoom link will be sent to everyone who has a ticket! Questions? Email: jessbrain@thebrainbar.com

Deconstructing Semantics

Whenever semantics comes up, an initial response could be what do you mean by that, or are you trying to be mean? News or Views?

Ancient Greek: σημαντικός sēmantikós, significant is the study of meaning, reference, or truth. The term can be used to refer to philosophy, linguistics, and computer science.

❤️ LOVE 💗

Before we can love anyone else, we must first learn to love ourselves and try to be the best human being we can possibly be.

It happens to be the most powerful emotion. Love also occurs when you get that feeling from someone else. The butterflies in your stomach, knowing that someone else cares for you almost as much as you do.

One of the most common issues in relationships is the communication barrier. Everyone experiences love differently, and it’s easy to miss the mark when it comes to showing that you care.

Brits and Americans are divided by attitudes toward the House of Windsor. Why are there different reactions to Harry and Meghan Markle’s Oprah interview? What is the attraction to learn about The Royals who're among the most dysfunctional families on earth?

Bonnie and Clyde were an unstoppable team. The ragtag bank robber duo were inspiring legends everywhere they went.

Bonnie Elizabeth Parker and Clyde Champion Barrow were lovers who traveled the Central United States with their gang during the Great Depression. They were known for their bank robberies, although they also robbed small stores and rural businesses.

City Images condemns all incidents of human violence across this entire world, no matter where or who they look like.

The recent attacks are a part of a disturbing trend of harassment and violence targeting not only the elderly but also African Americans, Asian Americans, Muslim Americans, Hispanic Americans and any other targeted groups exacerbated by xenophobia and discrimination.

Pandemic Stories

COVID may turn out to be the ultimate stress test for human beings. A literary guide by famed Latin-American writer and Nobel prize-winning author Gabriel García Márquez first published in 1985 El Amor en Los Tiempos del Cólera in Spanish or Love in Times of Cholera is one classic we recommend for all to read. There is also a magnificent film to watch with an absolutely fabulous soundtrack to give a listen to. But manor no mistake about it, the global pandemic must be eradicated.
