The opening ceremony inside eerily empty stadium seats. Let the weirdness begin. The first reviews of the fan-less Olympics are in, and after watching The Parade of Nations on television we can say this event may be somewhat underwhelming.

But as they say, the show must go on. This term is used to say that an event must continue even though there are problems, and boy there sure is, the elephant in the stadium... The global pandemic.

What if there was a decision to hold Olympic Games in Japan but nobody was sitting in the stands to watch the athletes compete?

Empty stadiums. A resurgent virus. Angry voters. The Tokyo Olympics are turning into a nightmare for Japan’s leaders. The 2021 Olympics a $20 Billion Bust for Japan. Nation expected a windfall, but the disgruntled want it gone.

Samuel Langhorne Clemens, known by his pen name Mark Twain, was an American writer, humorist, entrepreneur, and publisher.

He was lauded as the "greatest humorist the United States has produced," and William Faulkner called him "the father of American literature".

Red or ginger hair occurs naturally in one to two percent of humans, appearing with greater frequency two to six percent among people of Northern or Northwestern European ancestry and lesser frequency in other populations.

The Carters are celebrating their 75 years of marriage today. They are the longest in presidential history. Jimmy, 96, and Rosalynn, 93, mark this special occasion in the town where they met nearly one hundred years ago.

May God continue to bless this amazing couple of love birds in paradise after a young midshipman needed a date one evening while he was home from the U.S. Naval Academy, in Annapolis so his younger sister paired him with a family friend who already had a crush on him from way back.

The United Nations estimates a global average life expectancy of 72.6 years for 2019 – the global average today is higher than in any country back in 1950. According to the UN estimates the country with the best health in 1950 was Norway with a life expectancy of 72.3 years.

Happy Fathers Day Weekend. Whether you're a father, or by marriage, or a parent who adopted. I love my kids and all my grandchildren.

However, I am a divorced dad living at a distance who at a ripe old age realizes a limited connection to my family. My adult kids are mostly married with children who know how to reach me. I always reached out to them and miss my DaD and grandfathers.
