Whatever happened to Mexico will pay for the wall... I'll drain the swamp and so many other so-called bait and switch moves... Has he hired the best people? Are these actions intended to build up or to destroy?

There have been massive firings from people chosen by @POTUS along with an amazing wave of Congressmen who are choosing to retire. Additionally, there is a lack of stability as one day its one thing and the next moment it is another. It appears that under the present administration, being a public servant is a not an easy job, and it’s not likely to improve.

Battered After Storms

Shell shocked coastal communities are trying to respond to death and destruction caused in Texas, Florida and throughout the Caribbean.

In the US, Florida and Texas are some of the largest states with the most hurricane damage as a result of Hurricane drenching rains and the damaging storm surge. This is climate change, not fake news, folks.

Public or Private Infrastructure?

Trump says US can get $1 trillion worth of infrastructure for free. How can this be accomplished? More about this below. This concept has been introduced elsewhere with some success. However, we wonder if America should be put up FOR SALE?

Captive markets of potential users face a severely limited amount of competitive suppliers. Therefore the choices are to use what is available without competition or to not make a choice at all. The practice usually results in higher prices and less diversity for consumers.

The USA needs leaders who will continue to embrace the ideals that established: freedom of the press, openness to newcomers, equality of opportunity, public investments in research, infrastructure, and respect for everyone. This country became great by welcoming all cultures, races, religions and nationalities.

The big quake is predicted to strike along the San Andreas Fault line.

Earthquake early warning systems use earthquake science and the technology of monitoring systems to alert devices and people when shaking waves generated by an earthquake are expected to arrive at their location. Over $3 Billion dollars are needed to upgrade America’s fractured infrastructure. Lead pipes are poisoning our children, railways, highways and bridges are broken down and need emergency repairs.

With a grading system depicts the condition and performance of the nation’s infrastructure in the familiar form of a school report card by assigning letter grades based on the physical condition and needed investments for improvement.

US Rail Defects

Another round of targeted rail inspections intended to improve public safety and reduce potential dangers associated with the transport of crude oil. NY Inspection teams examined 756 crude oil tank cars, approximately 239 miles of track and 51 switches. Overall, state and federal teams uncovered and addressed three critical defects and 66 non-critical defects.

This is National Infrastructure Week in the US. Do you believe this ridiculous irony?
