Gridiron Dinner

POTUS went along for the ride with movers and shakers of the mainstream media he lashes out against at Washington’s annual Gridiron dinner last night.

A white-tie gala is the type of event he's shunned since taking office. Hiring Best or Worst?

Has @POTUS been hiring the best people to represent the US and make America great? @realDonaldTrump promised his base he would hire the best people, so why does he keep hiring the worst and making mistakes?

He claimed to be self-funding by hiring the best, not the biggest donors... So what happened to his promises?

Trump promised to hire "... the best people, and repeated it several times, suggesting that whenever he keeps repeating something beware. Was it a mean-spirited trick, or a treat, is this one of his big ideas gone bust, or perhaps a bait and switch?

This move s part of a security overhaul in the wake of the Rob Porter domestic abuse allegations, which applies to employees for whom background investigations have been pending since June.

As a nonprofit and academic administrator, I wonder if a nationwide academic movement finally shakes Congress out of its stupor? The USA appears incapable of solving a scourge that exists nowhere else on earth.

While The NRA stuffs millions into the pockets of our elected officials, why does America stan idle while many are slaughtered by criminals using assault weapons? How many more lives will be lost, leaving loved ones devastated and too many broken dreams before our so-called leadership put a stop to the madness?
