Hiring Best or Worst?

Has @POTUS been hiring the best people to represent the US and make America great? @realDonaldTrump promised his base he would hire the best people, so why does he keep hiring the worst and making mistakes?

He claimed to be self-funding by hiring the best, not the biggest donors... So what happened to his promises?

Trump promised to hire "... the best people, and repeated it several times, suggesting that whenever he keeps repeating something beware. Was it a mean-spirited trick, or a treat, is this one of his big ideas gone bust, or perhaps a bait and switch?

The President takes an oath before entering on the execution of this special duty:—I do solemnly swear or affirm that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

He did not receive the popular vote, therefore considered the majority of voters casting a ballot. So what has now happened? Has the president failed to do his job to keep everyone in #USA united? Has he made America great?

Starting today, White House employees who have had access to classified information under temporary security clearances will have them revoked.

A security clearance is a US Government determination for access to classified information. The term “eligibility for access” means the same thing as security clearance and is used in record systems and by personnel security specialists.

This move s part of a security overhaul in the wake of the Rob Porter domestic abuse allegations, which applies to employees for whom background investigations have been pending since June.

In the betting world, a winning wager involves selecting the horse that you think will finish the race in first place. The Republicans won US Government control with a majority rule in Congress and The White House.

With a place bet, you win if your selected horse finishes the race in either first or second place. The GOP put all their money on what they thought would be a winning horse with a well-known name and a face.

Never Again

As a nonprofit and academic administrator, I wonder if a nationwide academic movement finally shakes Congress out of its stupor? The USA appears incapable of solving a scourge that exists nowhere else on earth.

While The NRA stuffs millions into the pockets of our elected officials, why does America stan idle while many are slaughtered by criminals using assault weapons? How many more lives will be lost, leaving loved ones devastated and too many broken dreams before our so-called leadership put a stop to the madness?

Elected vs Selected

An unqualified individual can be elected without the popular vote. We have seen this time and again in our democracy. When someone is selected, it usually signifies they're the very best person available for the job.

Donald John Trump was born June 14, 1946, and 70 years later won the election while losing the popular vote. However, he currently is the 45th and current President of the United States. #POTUS has been in office since January 20, 2017. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and became famous by an NBC TV Show.

@POTUS delivers prepared remarks on the tragedy in Parkland, Florida. The High School Shooting caused the deaths of too many, another 17. Was it a monologue on what happened when we already know what's going on. How many times did he mention guns in his response? 17: The number of kids murdered in a school shooting yesterday

What do you think is the problem? Will you opine? And what if anything is #Trump going to really do about it?
