For the second time in less than one year, another one has occurred on the Bronx River Parkway, which led to a vehicle falling off the highway to the streets below.

Following a historic two-year campaign that created a citywide living wage movement that sets the standards for nationwide policies, the final Living Wage Bill will be voted on by the New York City Council at the stated meeting this coming Monday. This vote will reflect the voice of 74% of New Yorkers who are in favor of the living wage bill, according to poll results released in December from Quinnipiac University.
Seven individuals have been killed after a minivan they were riding in lost control on a Bronx River Parkway overpass and ultimately coming to rest inside The Bronx Zoo.
Three of them were children dead in the one-vehicle accident were children. All of the dead were in the minivan.
The noon time accident occurred on the southbound lanes of the Bron River Parkway, just north of East 180th Street. According to officials, the minivan was traveling southbound in the left lane, when apparently a tire was blown, the vehicle lost control and struck the divider.

World War II monument opens in Washington, D.C. to thousands of visitors, while providing overdue recognition for the 16 million U.S. men and women who served in the war. The memorial is located on 7.4 acres on the former site of the Rainbow Pool at the National Mall between the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial. The Capitol dome is seen to the east, and Arlington Cemetery is just across the Potomac River to the west.
