Lehman Center for the Performing Arts celebrates 50 years of Salsa Bestial with an exciting performance by tropical music icons RICHIE RAY and BOBBY CRUZ on Saturday, March 9th, 2013 at 8pm. Last year, there were six Academy Awards categories with no women nominated whatsoever. This year, it is up to seven. These numbers are unacceptable and increasingly alarming across all categories, 2013 nominees total 140 men and just 35 women. That's not fair, Mr. Oscar!
This film industry grows with 78% of the top-grossing 250 films in 2012 had no women writers, 89% of them had no female directors. WT----?
