My parents have passed away, but I am blessed and grateful that they brought me to this great country and allow me to live with a better levelof freedom and opportunity.

But since this about Mother's Day and the ladies always go first ... My mother was more exciting than a couple of Margaritas. She managed to encourage, inspire, love and care for us. Dad was a truly refined man with strength, intelligence, wisdom, knowledge and integrity.

Thanks to God and my parents, I have been able to perform services in the public sector and private industry throughout an enriching career that began as a Washington Post fellow and culminated as chief of office and director of operations in the television network of The Associated Press.

Convinced of the importance of the Spanish language in the US, I have focused my career on multilingual information, developing broadcast services on Univision, Telemundo, VOA, AP, and Cablevisión. This executive experience, coupled with a visionary character and exceptional communication skills, make me an ideal candidate for executive positions in multilingual projects that require an enthusiastic and determined leader.

In my successful career, I have served as a media executive, news manager as well as a distinguished teacher. I am characterized by happily laboring tirelessly; Promoting diversity and equality as well as creating an environment in harmony with my work team.

Proof of this is that I have served as a member of the Council of the Presidential Advisory Committee against academic discrimination, I have been a member of the jury for the Emmy Awards, served on the Gender and Ethnic Conference at Columbia University in NYC, researcher at Poynter institute on studies of the race as well as the recipient winner of an Alfred I Du Pont.

With my extensive knowledge of the media and the news, I have excellent developed special research skills, and excelled in writing, editing and social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and much more as well as internet content management with knowledge in HTML, Photoshop and SEO systems, drupal and RSS.

These qualities have allowed me to successfully launch different media projects in California, Texas, New York and Washington D.C. I consider myself to be a creative thinker who has embraced news and information by developing innovative formulas to connect all media. I am a sincere man of ideas and a very active player on my teams. I have obtained advanced academic degrees and demonstrated great effectiveness when hiring others from the world of communication.

I'd like to take a moment to remember all the mothers of the children who died at the Sandy Hook School shooting that took place on December 14, 2012, in Newtown, Connecticut, when Adam Lanza, 20, fatally killed 20 children between six and seven years of age, as well as six adult staff members. Before driving to school, he shot and killed his mother at home. When the first responders arrived on the scene, Lanza committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.

This was the deadliest shooting at a primary school in United States history and the third-deadliest single-person mass shooting in US history. The shooting prompted a renewed debate over gun control in the US, to make universal the background check system and to the new federal and state arms laws that prohibit the sale and manufacture of certain types of semi-automatic firearms and magazines With more than ten cartridges of ammunition.

A November 2013 report issued by the Connecticut State Attorney's Office concluded that Lanza acted alone and planned his actions, but we never had any evidence or indication of why he did so, or why he went to that school.

Esta experiencia ejecutiva, sumada a un carácter visionario y con excepcionales habilidades para la comunicación, me convierten en un candidato ideal para puestos ejecutivos de proyectos multilingües que requieren un líder entusiasta y decidido.

En mi exitosa carrera he servido como ejecutivo de medios de comunicación, administrador de noticias así como profesor distinguido. Me caracterizo por trabajar incansablemente; promoviendo la diversidad e igualdad así como crear un ambiente de trabajo en armonía con mi equipo de trabajo.
