And they’ll ask how well do today’s journalists believe they are carrying out their responsibility to provide Americans with the information they need to be good citizens.
Bob Schieffer, one of America’s pre-eminent television journalists and former host of CBS’s Face the Nation, is the author of This Just In: What I Couldn’t Tell You on TV, Face the Nation: My Favorite Stories from the First 50 Years of the Award-Winning News Broadcast and Bob Schieffer’s America. He is a member of the Broadcasting Hall of Fame and in 2009 was named a Living Legend by the Library of Congress. He resides in Washington, DC.
Mr. Rose is an Emmy award-winning journalist Charlie Rose is executive editor and anchor of PBS’s Charlie Rose which, since 1991, has become a unique venue for individuals in politics, performing arts, literature, film, science, medicine, and business. He has received numerous journalistic awards and honorary degrees. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He also co-anchors CBS This Morning and is a contributing correspondent to 60 Minutes. He lives in New York City.
