A storm system with abundant moisture will push into the lower Mississippi River Valley on Saturday and continue to bring a chance for excessive rainfall and flash flooding. Ongoing drought will help mitigate widespread major flooding on larger rivers, but many smaller tributaries could experience rapid rises. Some of these storms could also bring hail and damaging winds on Saturday.
