As we approach Summer, it is worth remembering that many of us may become hot and irritated, but please do not let it get to you.

Do nothing Congress has kept their reputation intact as it controls the actions or better yet, government inaction.
The US Supreme Court is going on summer vacation at the end of the month. And so are many hard working Americans.

Cutting Medicaid will harm children, local communities, as well as state budgets

In 2015, Medicaid paid for nearly $4 billion in school-based health care services, including both special education and EPSDT services provided outside of special education. (See Below) By comparison, schools received about $12 billion in federal IDEA funding in 2015.

According to Chronicle conducted research, Donald J. Trump has discussed higher-education policy sparingly. That tendency has largely continued since his inauguration as President Trump and appears to be shared by Betsy DeVos, his Cabinet member and Secretary of Education. http://www.chronicle.com

The hearing was called to allow former acting Attorney General Sally Yates to testify to a Senate panel that she warned the White House that Michael Flynn could be blackmailed by the Russians. Former DNI Director James Clapper also warned that Russian meddling in U.S. elections will continue.
