As a young political refugee, I came to realize that my stretched mind causes the spiritual fire that has grown inside, which allows me to embrace new hopes and aspirations. It has also motivated me to become involved with startups and turnaround projects all over this great nation, in a couple of different languages.

The strategy which works best for me is to always remember that hard work, devotion, and commitment, are contagious, and that failure is never an option.

A Paradise In The Bronx

There is a special small island nestled behind Pelham Park in The Bronx called City Island - A Slice of New York City Paradise.

City Island is a neighborhood in the northeasternmost section of New York City. This small gem is approximately 1.5 miles long by 0.5 miles wide. City Island is a natural trifecta located at the extreme western end of Long Island Sound, south of Pelham Bay and east of Eastchester Bay.

Shanghai Lockdown

With over 130,000 COVID Cases Shanghai’s 25 million residents have been in lockdown for more than a week in the latest outbreak.

China's financial center of Shanghai will reportedly start easing lockdown in some areas this week, despite reporting a record of more than 25,000 new COVID-19 infections. Local authorities are trying to get the city back to normal with family food deliveries after more than two weeks of lockdown.

Pelham Bay Park is the largest park in New York City, with a 13-mile coastline, salt marshes, shady forests, and sunny meadows, as well as a 19th-century historic house, the Hunter Island Marine Zoology and Geology Sanctuary, bridle trails, golf courses, bike paths, and the only public beach in the area, known as Orchard Beach, The Bronx Riviera.  https://www.nycgovparks.org/parks/pelham-bay-park

Everyone knows that Russia helped Trump get elected and create international chaos. Now Putin is trying to get another one of his puppets elected in France to deal a final blow to NATO.

French voters choose their president this month, but the first round of voting is this weekend. President Emmanuel Macron is favored to win, however the race has gotten closer for his main challenger, Marine Le Pen.

After The Storm

The New York City pounding rains that brought strong winds that pounded The Big Apple into the late-night hours have disappeared.

Since the one topic, we should be talking about is the climate crisis... NYC residents experienced persistent rain and thunderstorms that extend into the early morning hours. The National Weather Service issued warnings of wind gusts and considerable rainfall. Precipitation amounts were higher caused by thunderstorms, which developed throughout the night.

American Apathy

Feeling indifferent or lacking emotion, is more often than not a clear and present danger sign of depression, or misuse of drugs.

Anyone feeling uninterested in relationships, unmotivated at work, uninterested in school, or just feeling empty doesn’t know why they feel apathy. Sometimes, apathetic feelings are a result of things we can recognize and change. For example, we’re feeling bored at work or we’re no longer attracted to someone we once felt attracted to, on interested in learning from our mistakes.
