New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said Ciao before his sex harassment scandal-forced resignation takes effect tonight at midnight.

The second-generation member of a NY political dynasty catapulted into the national spotlight as a hero in the early days of the pandemic, as a result of his daily #COVID briefings must-see TV. No other USA politician has so expeditiously plunged from hero to zero on such a public stage.

Political Refugees Unite

The empathy many political refugees from Cuba, Vietnam, and other Americans feel toward Afghan refugees evokes them to action.

The political refugees cry for freedom acknowledging that t is a jungle out there. As a child of parents who left everything behind for freedom, liberty, and to participate in the American democratic process, I feel for any and all fellow refugees who find themselves in a similar predicament. The images online are alarming, but we can't verify all of them.

It has been succinctly said that an antithesis to sibling rivalry in musical terms, is brotherly, sisterly, or Everly Harmony.

The Andrew Sisters had it. So do The Soto Brothers. Last but not least, The Everly Brothers. Their songs shaped many musical ambitions, including mine.

RIP: Don Everly, one-half of the pioneering Everly Brothers whose harmony hits pleased a generation of rock ‘n’ rollers.

It’s another dangerous lie that kids don’t catch #COVID. Our school teachers are so worried why have you told them to scrap bubbles, mask-wearing, and social distancing when cases of the delta variant are at their peak. Why can’t our kids get vaccinated?

Those who are unwilling to sacrifice a small part of their quality of life and daily comforts for the good of our country seem to be making the loudest noise right now. But the statistics show that they have never been in the majority.

I’m the unicorn journalist with wings and a cyclops eye. I have been affected by multiple news stories, starting with Fidel Castro’s Cuban Communist Revolution in the ’60s, when I became a political refugee after coming to America.

Blue-Sturgeon Moon

Look up in the sky this Sunday to see if you catch an image of the full moon that will be both a "sturgeon moon" and "blue moon."

The moon will officially become full at 8:02 a.m. ET Sunday, but it will still appear plenty large throughout Saturday as well as Sunday nights. Just look toward the southeast sky after sunset to catch a glimpse of the sturgeon moon rising,

Hurricane forecasters are warning of excessive rain and flooding in parts of the northern Plains and Mid-Atlantic with thunderstorms.

After a record-setting start, the 2021 Atlantic hurricane season doesn't show signs of relenting as it enters the peak months ahead.

Tropical Storm Henri keeps spinning in a northwesterly course around 375 miles south, southeast of Cape Hatteras, N.C., which is likely to become the first hurricane to slam New England in 3 decades.
