Timing is Everything!

Timing is everything for electronic messaging and sometimes it goes to the back burner.
The Subject, Context, and Kiss are important.

Needless to say, if you need a reply ASAP, you're better off calling. Similarly, be conscientious about the recipient who may be swamped under work or -- even worse -- on vacation? In those instances, follow-ups aren't going to be effective, regardless of how flawlessly crafted.

Grievanceburg Address?

The Donald went to Gettysburg PA and delivered a speech that was less like Lincoln's address and more like the whining and complaints we have all heard all too often. A Gettysburg Kvetch or Grievanceburg Address.

@realDonaldTrump's Contract with the American Voter was delivered in hollowed ground in Pennsylvania#Gettysburg #DrainTheSwamp.

Benjamin Franklin

With all the hype about Alexander Hamilton recently, we must remember all USA founders.
One such individual was Ben Franklin. His visage graces the 100 dollar bill and he was known all over the world, so go figure.

Born in Massachusetts, Benjamin Franklin helped to draft the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, he also negotiated the 1783 Treaty of Paris, which ended the Revolutionary War. He was the first postmaster general and so much more.

The NSA is part of the Defense Department and an Intelligence Community Agency. According to agency officials, US leaders, policymakers, warfighters, law enforcement agencies and our Intelligence Community partners face some of the gravest national security challenges ever.

Internet service attacks coming in waves. Denial of service attacks across #America and a spy busted stealing from the National Security Agency. What the hell is going on?

Baseball Magic

As the son of a lifetime Cleveland Indians baseball fanatic who was named after one their most notable pitchers "Rapid Robert Feller", I'm obviously rooting for my late, great dad AJ Soto II and Robert's team. Bob Feller, The Greatest Cleveland Indian, dies at age 92. http://www.cleveland.com/tribe/index.ssf/2010/12/the_greatest_cleveland_...
But since Cleveland has already won the American league championship, we are assured of competing for the best team in America.

HUMOR: AN OLD AMERICAN TRADITION

Submitted by ub on

America loves to make fun of its politicians. And it is even more to our liking when the politicians make fun of each other. After a bruising, no holds barred campaign, Hillary Clinton, and Donald Trump gave America something to laugh about.

It's an old tradition: the annual Al Smith dinner to raise money for Catholic charities at the Waldorf. And, like many other candidates in past elections, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump exchanged barbs before an audience of wealthy New Yorkers.
