"See it Now" was an American newsmagazine and documentary series introduced to viewers by CBS TV. The program aired from 1951 to 1958. It was created and anchored by Edward R. Murrow and produced by Fred W. Friendly.

Murrow warned TV viewers not to confuse dissent with disloyalty. You can watch it now, or lament it later.

A manhunt is underway in Munich Germany, after nearly one dozen people were shot to death.

Public safety officers are hunting an unknown number of gunmen who opened fire in a shopping mall and at a nearby McDonald's Friday, killing at least eight people and wounding others in a rampage they described as suspected terrorism.

At times, his fiery speech sounded paranoid, and as usual very short on specifics. America is not in decline and those watching said he sounded like a banana republic dictator

RIP: Conal A. Schaller

It was standing room only at St. Mary Star of The Sea Catholic church as many members of the City Island community came out of respect for The Schaller family to mourn the death of a young man who left too soon.

Attending were bagpipe players along with Police officers from New Rochelle, where his father served as a Captain.

Many were saddened by the news of Conal's passing. Long-time City Island resident says he will miss his smile and regular greetings. 3/15/83 - 7/15/16

RIP: Gary Marshall

He was the creator of “Pretty Woman” “Beaches” “Happy Days" “Laverne & Shirley” “Mork & Mindy.”

Marshall died at 81 in a Burbank, California hospital, of complications from pneumonia following a stroke. An outpouring of respect and affection quickly followed.

He grew up in The Bronx, where according to Marshall you only had a few choices. You were either an athlete, a gangster, or you were funny.”
