The GOP has crowned what some say could be the end of The Grand Old Party as we know it.

Inside delegates who planned #NeverTrump were highly vocal but ultimately unsuccessful as a Republican faction trying to advance the idea to never support The Donald.

GOP Conventional Wisdom?

#ChasingCleveland - There were some issues on display on GOP's first day that should have been avoided.

First, there was the chaos on the floor that looked like a banana republic and bully pulpit system after there were were sufficiently conspicuous opportunities to speak on convention rules and then be voted on.

This terrible dissent in which to advocate a real agenda was a wonderful opportunity for digital democracy. Instead, the opposing delegates are now reportedly now being threatened by pro-Trump forces.

TRUMPENCE presidential ticket made its debut in an unconventional manner that was awkward and a pairing designed to bring together the Republican Party on the eve of its GOP national convention.

As always, Trump spent more time talking about himself, and about crooked Hillary Clinton, who he has yet fully explained how she differs from him.

I taught journalism at a conservative Indiana university and make no mistake about Pence's conservative credentials, his legislative record and his more than questionable actions as governor.
