As media mavens, these trusted individuals shared their unique knowledge with others. However, this week, TV viewers learned about the developing saga and exodus of two media kingpins and previously moored anchors, who by now know all too well that the most reliable strategy, which works best is to keep it simple and reliable.

After delivering the news to 10 million television viewers for years, Brian Williams appeared reliable and concise. But when it came to telling his personal story of a helicopter attack, he got got it wrong and repeated it over and over until he eventually got caught. When he admitted it, the top brass at the peacock network suspended him without pay.

Then comes Jon Stewart, who for years has reigned over The Daily Show. His response was to quickly comment and say “Finally someone is being held to account for misleading America about the Iraq War!”. At about the same time, Stewart announced he would be stepping down from his popular satirical program.

Valentines Day Celebration

V Day is days away. Are you wondering about ways to treat that special person in your life? Are you considering fancy chocolates and fine wine, or perhaps a sensual massage?

Our recommendation is simple and direct. Gratitude Kudos... This year on February 14th, while many couples are spending the big bucks at restaurants, drinking overpriced wines, try cuddling on your couch and saying nice things to each other. Because it turns out that despite all the efforts to impress on V-Day, simply appreciating each other does more for your relationship than almost anything else.

CRIME UPDATE

Submitted by Admin on

Over the past three years, there have only been three days during which there were no murders, slashing, nor stabbings reported from The Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, or Staten Island.

In fact, as of Monday NYC has enjoyed more than a week without any homicides reported to NYPD in the five boroughs. Could it be the cold temperatures? February of last year saw the city going through ten straight days without a homicide.

Suspended without pay for six months and some hope he goes away, far far away. After hearing from people who had to work wit him and reading the endless news stories and posts on social media, all that is left to say is Hasta Luego.

There are more important news stories developing all around the world and too much time has been wasted on an individual's ego trip and exaggerated tales gone from bad to worse.

Women Are Better and Brighter

Recently, while speaking with my oldest daughter Natasha, who has three delightful daughters (my grand-kids), I said she drives too fast. She asked me if I was implying that she's not a good driver. On the contrary, she is not only a better driver than me, but women as a whole are much better at many more things than men.

Women drive better than men.

Well this reverses a social myth – that women are bad drivers. Carnegie Mellon University researchers found after analyzing a lot of traffic data in 2007 that men are 77% more likely to die in a car accident than women, keeping the miles driven constant. So next time when your husband asks you to hand over the car keys, just give him this article.
