City Islanders have always enjoyed the great parades and this year was no exception, as thousands of Clam Diggers, Mussel Suckers and visitors celebrated by either attending, or watching it here online: City Island Images
The 92nd annual Memorial Day Parade at City Island, not only featured US veterans, but a marching band, politicians, as well as senior and junior citizens.
Ron Terner attended DeWitt Clinton, H.S. Lehman College, Germaine School for Photography and has been practicing his trade on City Island for over 35 years.
Master photographer Ron Terner is one of the greatest practitioners of the camera we know.
Hanging out with Jackie Kyle Kall is always a good time, but having drinks with her on her 88th birthday is sure to define City Island fine.
The 88 year old breaks every mold, including never ask a lady her age. She is happy to share her young age and never passes up an opportunity for a good old fashioned celebration.
There are a few ways around City Island to enjoy the annual Memorial Day Parade, as we take time out to remember the men and women who have proudly served our country.
The best way is to walk, or stand along City Island Avenue and enjoy this colorful parade tradition. Another is to watch in online www.cimages.me and this year, Mr. and Mrs. Sparks are inviting City Islanders to their lawn barbeque, across the street from the cemetery.
