Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. has issued a “Back to School” guide, containing helpful tips for parents regarding the upcoming school year.

The guide, which is available on the borough president’s website and will be issued to schools and community organizations across The Bronx, includes information on registering students for public school, determining a student’s zoned school and finding school transportation, as well as information on programs for special education students and English Language Learners (ELL). The guide is available in both English and Spanish.

NY YANKEES / BRONX PRESIDENT'S CUP LITTLE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP

On Monday, August 15, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. and the New York Yankees will co-host the inaugural “Borough President’s Cup” Little League Championship. The event is produced in conjunction with the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation.

The event will feature two teams, the Little League Raiders and the Rolando Paulino Little League, competing for the title in a game at Yankee Stadium.
