Happy couples make it work, despite pretty substantial age gaps. The practice is a pretty common sight nowadays. They say that age is just a number and they would be correct. We know of happy couples where the woman is older and visa versa.

So am I very worried? Yes, I am. I have just finished reading a book by Masha Gessen —Surviving Autocracy— that in my thoughts may become prophetic.

I am a professor of literature who, unlike Jonathan Swift, would have taken Sir Francis Bacon’s side in the "Fable of the Spider and the Bee.” Like Bacon, I like to distinguish the difference between “men of experiment" and "men of dogma.” I trust the former.

Who’s Your Real Frenemy? They never offer any support, often ask for much more than they share. Always takes but never ever gives.

Who is the deadbeat that always needs help or a huge favor, then they don’t care about your life and don't have any interest in what is going on? Also, they do not show up in time for the other's needs. So, it is often a one-sided relationship. People who like to pull-you-down. Undermining frenemy: This type of frenemy loves to fling insults. Like a person who visits your social media space to spread hate.
