WTF, as far as any of us can tell, remains blissfully unaware of any other meanings of this infamous three letter expression. Or perhaps some folks just don't want to listen or change their style. In fact, Wisdom, Tenacity, and Focus are all extremely important. However, humility and purpose are equally crucial. Also, trying not to be arrogant by attacking those who don't always agree with you.

Do The Ends Justify the Meanness?

Niccolò di Bernardo dei Machiavelli was known as a Renaissance historian, a politician, a diplomat, a philosopher, a humanist, and an amazing communicator. He was born in 1469 and died in 1527 in his beloved Florence Italy.

Can you break down this moral code? Does anyone come to mind who appears only on Fox and is cunning like a fox and ready to deceive? Consider our contemporaries and a Virtusa?

Machiavelli is the founder of modern politics. He has been quoted as saying It is better to be feared than loved if you cannot be both.

We Love YouTube

YouTube video streaming started as a brilliant idea, with a clip of a man at the San Diego Zoo gawking at elephants. Since April 23, 2005 every other animal on the planet from monkeys to pandas have all enjoyed fame on YouTube.

The following video clips are some of the most popular videos as well as favorite ones for our staff at City Images:

Chris Christie is full of....

Submitted by ub on

If you were asked to finish this sentence, would you say leadership, hot air, himself, crap, or what?

NJ Governor Chris Christie is one of the most talked-about Republicans in the country on the eve of an election in which he isn't even on the ballot.

Is this déjà vu all over again? He did it back in 2012, when he bonded with President Obama while touring the hurricane-ravaged Jersey Shore.

I WANT TO BE 39 FOREVER

Submitted by ub on

Here are reasons why I wish to be 39 forever:

I have no clue what's on MTV.

When people say older folks they're talking about me.

I'm more likely to forget to have sex than to forget to floss.

If I eat chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, I've gained an inch of waistline by dinnertime.

I get a full night's sleep, but look like I was up all night. But not up all night doing something cool.

I'm probably never going to be a Solid Gold Dancer, Soul Train or American Bandstand..

The me in my head is like the foxy little brother of the me in the mirror.

If I strolled across a college campus, people would assume teacher, professor Ph.D!

I'm old enough to finally be admitted to the AARP.

Most days, I choose comfort over style. I'm a traitor to my stilettos.

All the tanning I did is showing up now as brown blotches. Get a Sharpie and you could draw.

The Psychedelic Furs, Duran Duran and The Cure are now considered oldies.

Everything I wore in high school has been appropriated ironically by hipsters.

Only a fortysomething is old enough to remember the TV show Thirtysomething. More irony.

Oooh, my aching back, legs, arms, neck...etc.

Ages 31-39 are a total blur. I'm scared I'll blink and be 100.

I still think 33-year-old gals are hot. And they're like, sir?

Why didn't I take topless pictures of myself when I was younger?

I fantasize about taping up the sides of my face. It takes 10 years off instantly.

Touching my toes is not a guarantee.

Forget 50 Shades of Grey - my nightstand is full of Bengay. The apothecary is open!

I even have one of those days-of-the-week vitamin boxes.

If I buy a turtle it might outlive me.

The bad habits I still have are probably here to stay.

I say things like, "What's the name of that actor, you know, he was in that thing?"

I get a hangover from looking at liquor.

My next milestone birthday is... I forgot!

WE WANT YOUR FEEDBACK

Please, consider our blog from various multiple angles and tell us what you do like and do not...

Take our appearance: Does it look decent visually? It doesn’t have to be anything fancy because the world wide web continues to be bare-bones Internet style. But it must communicate a certain level of professionalism and orderliness consistent with the rest of our materials. We can’t have misspellings or glaring typos, for example, whereas we seek appropriate visuals, fonts, and a writing style that communicates professionalism.

Content: blog content does not have to be intense, long, heavily-footnoted scholarly research! It can be short, topical, impressionistic, and footnote-free. However, the content does have to be consistent with your standards and practices. Does it relate to you? Why, or why not?

Are we engage with themes and topics in a substantive way? Many people use blogs to vent and rant. That is a valuable function, and it’s one I endorse. However, rants don’t really serve any of us well. We can absolutely be critical, but please check to see that our tone and approach are thoughtful and constructive. This also includes all those comment threads.

The world is running short on statesmen and on patience as the October 17 deadline draws closer.

Some experts are now predicting panic if our lawmakers do not reach a solution to their self produced crisis.
There are indications that these so called leaders are considering kicking the can down the line, rather than preventing a possible catastrophic meltdown, if the US government falls into default as a result of the debt crisis.
