Live theatre is finally returning to NYC stages, and the lights will shine bright on Broadway, as shows will resume on Sept. 14.  

The coronavirus pandemic forced them all to close on March 12, 2020, and are now finally reopening.

Willie Colon's Accident

Salsa music legend Willie Colón and his wife were involved in an accident in their motor home on North Carolina's Outer Banks.

The Bronx-born senior salsa star and social activist who helped pioneer Latin music in the 1970's at Fania Records, is currently being treated at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital following a motor home crash on North Carolina's Outer Banks.

On earth day we take care of our planet, which is the only place we have to call home. Today I went to check out my body and soul.

We were reminded of the importance of meditation, exercise, and ❤️ LOVE.

  • Find a quiet place where you can be alone and undisturbed.

  • Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.

  • Put your attention on the area of your heart.

  • Breathe easily until you feel relaxed and quiet inside.

CHIC COREA WAS A KEYBOARDIST OF OUR GENERATION - I’ve been devastated by the passing of Chick Corea.  I think of him in the same way the generation before me thought of Duke Ellington or Count Basie, Bill Evans, Wynton Kelly, Barry Harris, Sun Ra, I could go on, knowing there are many other keyboardists and pianist-band leaders who stood out in previous generations and became the Jazz standard-bearers of their generation.

Our Favorite Christmas Song of Praise - Cantique de Noël, O Holy Night is a well-known Christmas carol composed in 1847 to the French poem Minuit, chrétiens Midnight, Christians by poet Placide Cappeau (1808–1877) The carol reflects on the birth of Jesus as humanity's redemption. O Holy Night was created by French opera composer Adolphe Adam, who also wrote the ballet, Giselle.
