Alligators, crocodiles and snakes will attack, bite and kill us if we allow it, but some humans should never be trusted.

With these reptiles, size does matter in this specific instance. They eat each other, depending on which is bigger. Alligators, snakes and crocs are apex predators, and actively hunt and kill to survive. Yes a large Anaconda or Python can and have killed Crocodiles.

A knucklehead is someone who is stupid, a dunce or an idiot and always does or says something totally foolish.

Knucklehead is an informal term that comes across as insulting, depending on how we use it. The former guy is one.

Riders nicknamed the engine the "Knucklehead" because of the distinctive shape of the polished alloy rocker boxes atop each cylinder. The Knucklehead provided vastly increased horsepower and durability and became the bedrock of Harley-Davidson engine design for the next 65 years.

And this is not just something worse than the thing before, but the absolute worst of all things. Thus, the correct word here is worst.

Consider the worst-case scenario. What’s the worst that could happen?

These phrases are both referring to the most terrible outcome imaginable. Therefore, the correct word is worst. You can’t get worse than the worst.

The deadliest-ever reported earthquake rattles Afghanistan, with over 1000 killed, and more than 1500 people injured.

An extremely powerful earthquake has killed over 1,000 people and left hundreds injured while many people were sleeping. The quake struck eastern Afghanistan early Wednesday morning, killing over 1,000 people, and leaving more than 1,500 injured, officials told Bakhtar News Agency

A potentially serious and extremely large-scale earthquake has slammed the State of Alaska so large #USA hasn’t seen recently. 

The M8.2 Alaska quake is on the subduction zone interface. What this means is that the seafloor under the Pacific Ocean is being pushed under the Alaskan peninsula. It also means it generated a tsunami and this is a potentially dangerous development. 

New Zealand Quake

A Pacific-wide tsunami alert issued after the 8.1-magnitude quake. The powerful quake struck in the ocean off the coast of New Zealand, prompting some evacuations and tsunami warnings across the South Pacific.  There was little damage from the huge Pacific quake and a tsunami threat passes.
