The best solution and the key to saving democracy in the United States of America is Citizen Participation and public engagement.

While the nation appears increasingly divided, it is up to all US citizens to become registered voters and to cast their ballots for the best political candidates, not to vote along party lines.

The right of every American is to do the work and research all the candidates you are being asked to vote for and make a decision based on your needs and beliefs.

Robert William Andrew Feller, nicknamed "the Heater from Van Meter", "Bullet Bob", and "Rapid Robert", was an American baseball pitcher who played 18 seasons in Major League Baseball for the Cleveland Indians between 1936 and 1956
Feller became the first pitcher to win 24 games in a season before the age of 21. He threw no-hitters in 1940, 1946, and 1951, and 12 one-hitters, both MLB records. “I don't think anyone is ever going to throw a ball faster than he does," Joe DiMaggio was quoted as saying during his epic 1941 season, when he hit in a record 56 consecutive games. "And his curveball isn't human."

According to published reports, Earth is perilously close to several climate "tipping points," a new report released this week.

Do you remember When the Mop Tops played The Ed Sullivan Show in the U.S. on February 9, 1964, The Beatles instantly became the biggest thing in popular music. They’d arrived, both on U.S. soil and in the world’s sonic vernacular. Playing bubblegum pop songs, the showcase set the groundwork for a career that would span rudimentary rock to experimental, groundbreaking tunes.

Americans should commemorate the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor by remembering that we’re still under attack.

The attack on Pearl Harbor was a surprise military strike by the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service upon the United States against the U.S. Naval base at Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii, just before 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 7, 1941

You've probably heard the story of two guys — counterparts—from the Queens Borough in New York City who went into politics and, fittingly, have both been discredited and publicly humiliated.

One faces criminal charges and even much more legal trouble than that. The other gets expulsion, with court and prison ahead next year.

What separates Donald Trump from George Santos is the accident of birth:

Trump to an authoritarian father who made him hate losing at anything. When his dad died, Donald cheated his older brother on his inheritance.
