POTUS false statistics fell flat because there is a less violent crime by undocumented immigrants than the general population. Does Trump miss being on prime-time television and that's why all we got was a pointless speech, making USA less informed.
Why did the networks offer a forum to lie to We The People on television?

His speech offered little he hadn't said before, prompting critics of TV networks decision to air the Oval Office address live, and without fact checks. His dark and bleak broadcast was punctuated by more than a few sniffles and nothing else.
