Gratitude is the treasured feeling of thankfulness and appreciation for all the good things we experience from family and friends.

I am grateful for healthy, successful, and happy kids and our children's children. For my parents, grandparents and great-grandparents.

PATIENCE EMPATHY PERSEVERANCE

My late grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Rosenberg, who died at 98, was a calm and generally unflappable school teacher born in 1888 near Minsk, Russia. Her parents emigrated to the USA for better opportunities here when she was six months old. Born Mary Marholin, she self-adopted a middle name because, as she told me, so many of her Irish immigrant schoolmates had Elisabeth as a middle name.

She visited me in a dream last night while I was considering what we should do to survive four years of an angry, despotic president elected by the slimmest of margins.

Producing a playlist on social media platforms is easy. The younger generation isn’t aware of the effort required for a perfect mixtape.

I am referencing the years before the onset of streaming music platforms or even digital music sharing and file compression.

As I attempt to save some of my classics, I decided to share these files with you and would enjoy any constructive criticism you wish to share. Listen and I know you will enjoy something.

R U MISSING SCHOOL?

While things did not always go well for most of us when we’were attending school, Charlie Brown often got the last laugh.

Not many dogs can say they have gone to a real school before, but at the end of the day, Snoopy is nowhere near like most dogs. Many of the Snoopy in school comic strips show the more childlike or whimsical side of Snoopy, while others show his temper flare, all culminating in intriguing and hilarious comic strips of Peanuts.

Experienced American citizens wanted  especially individuals with ethics integrity and highly qualified backgrounds.

Government hiring must be extremely demanding when our nation needs to move forward efficiently in a challenging time.

The United States of America’s taxpayers are demanding professionals with specialized skills to better serve We The People.

Public service is a serious national security issue that must always be respected. No convictions, impeachments or indictments .

We send a shout-out to all our friends in the United States, Canada, Saint Lucia, Liberia, and unofficially in all countries.

There are also our brothers and sisters who celebrate in Brazil, Germany, and the Philippines. It is also observed in the Dutch town of Leiden and the Australian territory of Norfolk Island.

This season can be stressful for some with gift buying, planning and preparation. Here are songs to enjoy everyday.

Mississippi native William Cuthbert Faulkner was a Nobel Prize winner and considered one of America’s finest authors.

I like to think of him as a little big man. He is known for his Southern Gothic themes and stream-of-consciousness style. Faulkner’s work explores complex social, psychological, and racial issues.

Faulkner's novels and short stories are set in the fictional Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi, which is based on Lafayette County, where he spent most of his life.

Where’s Sam now that we need him more than ever? I’ve admire his desire to "destroy oysters done up in all kinds of seductive styles."

If you've ever read "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer or Huckleberry Finn," you may already be intimately familiar with the American humorist, novelist, journalist and travel writer. https://youtu.be/8cjq-n4uZ5A?si=Vg2fNPwN4-4veKZy
