UNITY Seriously?

Submitted by ub on

POTUS is expected to call for unity in his attempt at reset after two years of partisanship deep divide and personal attacks. #SOTU will come with a large serving of partisan divide which could lead to another government shutdown or to an emergency declaration over the #Mexico border, but what about the #Canada northern border? Politically wounded from his federal shutdown, #Trump may face an uphill battle with his agenda.

Will Americans, or the rest of the world buy this White House attempt at turning a new leaf? We’ll have to wait and see, Mr. T.

On the eve of the Super Wolf Moon, which many Americans can fully enjoy, the youngest female US Representative ever elected, who represents my district is developing into a Congressional bright star out of the incoming freshman class of lawmakers from a record-breaking number of women, people of color, and LGBTQ representatives.

They’ve already begun to shake things up. This year’s elections appear to be changing Congress for the better. The midterm election was a @GOP disaster for a former group of House #Republicans.

His Unrestful Life

No rest for the weary and he will surely become more run down at his old age. This first day of the rest of his life will only get more difficult, Humpty falls from his wall. That, I can tell you.

Once there was a day to get his way or to getaway without a nay but that’s no longer what lays ahead for an old obese one who’s full of himself as his family and friends begin to turn their backs on him.

Where There’s A Will

There is always a way, that’s what people say, but perhaps not for Republicans who serve We The People of the #USA. The GOP controls the government, so why have they shut it down not once, but a few times so far in less than two years?

The Republicans gave corporations a $1.5 trillion tax cut and have shutdown the government three times while 40 percent of Americans can't cover a $400 emergency expenditure and 80 percent of workers are living paycheck-to-paycheck.

The Art of A Temper Tantrum

At a meeting between @POTUS and @VP with @TheDemocrats, there was a major setback for a self-described genius dealmaker. A Reality TV personality was boasting about being history's greatest dealmaker. He has proven not to be a master negotiator.

@realDonaldTrump promised that Mexico would pay for the border wall. Why is he now negotiating with Congress and determined on wasting billions of US taxpayers dollars? Isn’t this really a great deal for Russia if #Trump shuts down the US Government?

Individual 1

Does he realize he is finally top of the heap and the real number 1? The news comes with pre-presidential actions and entanglements by Trump himself. Investigators have now publicly cast Trump as a central figure of their probe into whether Trump’s campaign conspired with the Russian government during the 2016 campaign.

Disclosures show that Trump was in close contact with his lieutenants as they made outreach to both Russia and WikiLeaks and that they tried to conceal the extent of their activities.

Gun Control Now

The frequency of mass shootings steadily declined throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, then increased dramatically worldwide. Humanity does not need more thoughts and prayers, or moments of silence. we want gun control. Assaults riffles are used for mass murders.

GOP POTUS Confusion

Submitted by ub on

There is much confusion the mourning after The Republican's betting all on President Trump, which cost them control of Congress.

More firings, resignations, indictments and guilty pleas in the first two years of any administration than ever before in American history, followed by allegations and accusations hours following an embarrassing defeat, which no one will take the blame for.
