RIP DOC WATSON

Doc Watson was a blind guitar-picking master. He died at age 89, while his lightning-fast style of flatpicking influenced guitarists around the world for more than a half-century. His music will continue to live on for future generations to enjoy.

Watson became popular during the folk music revival of the early 1960s, injected a note of authenticity into a movement awash in protest songs and bland renditions of traditional tunes.

Life, Truth and Death

Every one of the experiences in our lives is a narrative. I learned that early on as a student intern for the Washington Post. I'm told I have a good sense of humor and I like having fun and telling the truth, while I attempt to find truths as best as possible because everything in life is based on fact finding. If you don't have the correct information, you may not report it. Once you are able to verify it, you can then move on it.
