POTUS Crushed

After hitting a wall https with Congress when twelve Senate Republicans joined with Democrats in support of a measure terminating the president’s national “emergency” declaration to fund a border wall, POTUS immediately promised via Tweet to veto the bill.

Trump is apparently crushed that he has lost GOP control as 12 Senate Republicans vote with Democrats to kill his border emergency. His embarrassing reprimand from members of his own party did not begin when they voted on a resolution disapproving of his declaration of emergency over the border.

Killing USA Softly

Defenseless #USA is a serious thing to say but being without a Pentagon Chief and Secretary of Defense is yet another way POTUS has failed to drain the swamp today.

Also, his Muslim ban, reducing regulations, Summits with dictators and thugs, while at the same time alienating our allies have had no real staying power.

Mexico Will Never Pay

Do the math, the currency exchange rate between 1 United States Dollar equals 19.49 Mexican Pesos. How many pesos are 8 Billion Dollars?

Trump promised over and over again that Mexico would pay for his wall, so why does he now want American taxpayers to pay? And since we do not even know if @Realdonaldtrump pays any taxes, why should #USA be forced to pay?

Blind Justice For Some

Paul John Manafort Jr. is an American lobbyist, political consultant, and convicted felon. The Republican joined Donald Trump's presidential campaign team in March 2016 and was promoted to campaign chairman from June to August 2016.

Paul Manafort’s slap on the wrist is a good example of American injustice in action While in school I may have spent more time in detention and inside the principals' office than he will now serve in his prison sentence.

How Does It Feel?

Could it be happening here again that our government has decided to make a list of anyone who speaks for truth and justice for all?

Are we still living in a Democracy, is it a Monarchy, Republicanism, ToTaliTarianism, Fascism, DicTaTorship, Communism, or oliGarchy?

An enemies list is the name of what starts by identifying political opponents who are compiled by government officials who they feel are subversive, or somehow threaten the state, if they dare to disagree or question certain actions.

Trump Taxes

As Americans approach the filing deadline for tax season, a group of Congressional leaders from The US House of Representative is formally demanding POTUS taxes.

They will seek his personal tax returns covering a decade, but not his business filings yet, said Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.), a senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee. https://www.politico.com/story/2019/03/05/democrats-plan-to-demand-trum…

Nature’s Deadly Wrath

A series of powerful tornadoes killed dozens of Americans over the weekend. Then a coastal storm system will bring heavy snow, dangerous winds, and hazardous travel throughout the Northeastern states.

An Arctic air sweep will continue to spill onto the Plains and expand into the eastern U.S. this week. Much more than below normal temperatures and biting wind chills can be expected over many locations.

#US storms that formed with Arctic air has led to bone-chilling temperatures, heavy snow blanketing the nation from coast to coast.

Awful Lawful?

We can't see the forest for the trees is an expression used when details of a problem are overlooked. The Republican-controlled Congress has been too involved in the wording of bills that they couldn't see the forest for the trees.

By focusing on what is officially defined as illegal or criminal, while a more serious threat to democracy is left out. This threat is caused by predatory practices considered to be skirting the letter of the law, but have multiple adverse social consequences.

Where Is That Love?

Following an abrupt end to his love summit with North Korea's Kim Jong Un, POTUS suddenly thinks its time to walk away from his self proclaimed romance.

#USA deterrence of North Korea is now in a Trump imposed downward spiral. The economic sanctions are beginning to fray. Japan may be losing confidence. South Korea’s Moon sees America as headed to the door. Kim keeps producing missiles with more nukes. Meanwhile, an annual Foal Eagle and Key Resolve USA-South Korean military exercises are not happening. What the hell is the Republican-controlled US Senate doing about it?
