Winter storms come and go, but whenever we report snow in Arizona and in Southern California is difficult to reject the notion of climate change.

The effects of a record-setting snowfall are expected to extend well into this weekend throughout the arid state of Arizona, including the city of Phoenix.

Officials say the storm closed long stretches of highways throughout Arizona where heavy snow had fallen. Many residents of Phoenix battled rain and cold temperatures, while Flagstaff had broken a 104-year-old record for snowfall in one day.

Great Caesar’s Ghost

Great Caesar’s Ghost was a phrase the fictional editor-in-chief of the Metropolis newspaper the Daily Planet said when he was shocked. Newsman Clark Kent, aka Superman, worked for Mr. White, who always maintained high ethical and journalistic standards as an archetypal image of a tough, irascible but fair-minded boss.

However, this time Superman may not be able to help and this is not fiction, folks we may have problems with climate change and you should consider the following as a warning of super proportions.

Our Future In Doubt

This is not meant to scare any of us to death, but it really should. Air pollution is the greatest environmental risk to the health of our time, and #ClimateChange is the greatest public health threat of the 21st century.

Every day 1.8 billion children breathe polluted air putting their health and development at serious risk. In 2016, 600 000 children died from acute lower respiratory infections caused by polluted air.

This is not a wake-up call. The whole world should now be aware of the single most threatening issue facing our planet. Planet earth has only until 2030 to stem catastrophic climate change or else we're all doomed.

Climate change is the statistical distribution of weather patterns for an extended period of time. Also known as global warming is the observed century-scale rise in the average temperature of the Earth's climate system and its related effects, as part of climate change. Multiple lines of scientific evidence show that the climate system is warming.

Another empty promise to repair the fundamental facilities and systems serving our country, cities, and other areas, including the services necessary for its economy to function?

NO Not BS, but PS as in Public Service. There are activists and organizers who have been extremely effective. One individual comes to mind, but there are others and many more are urgently needed.

Some public servants perfected the craft on the streets, responding to injustices by helping people to reach their goals.
Let's create an opportunity with an eye toward training folks to solve real-world problems in hopes to spread these ideas.

A Long Hot Summer

This Summer could bring record-breaking hot weather. NYC experienced scorching temperatures and multiple records could tumble if the heatwave continues.

If the rest of the season remains above average, NOAA says it is likely to at the very least make it into the warmest summers ever.

The heat continues to bake the US, making it the third warmest June on record. Meanwhile, hurricane records from the Atlantic Ocean show phases of high and low activity that can last several decades at a time.
