On this 50th anniversary of Earth 🌏 Day It feels like many families with young kids wish they could move to a safer place, like outer space, where they can afford to livestyle a healthy life in harmony with our world and without danger, even if it has to be another planet.

A recent news story about the world facing a hunger emergency could double the number of people facing acute hunger to 265 million by the end of 2020.

As I woke up in NYC Today, I looked out the window and could taste the petrichor in the air as the rain blessed the cracked lips of the earth. The morning air hit me, brumous and chilly, as I opened the building's front door and waved down the mist.

If you also see grey skies, It means Winter is upon us and for many, it is cold, and there’s nothing to beware, we've had lots of precipitation in the air..

This is not just about teenager Greta Thunberg, it is about the expansion of young people’s anger which is erupting all across the world.

She is the youngest person to be named Person of the Year. Greta achieved notoriety armed with hope and resilience. Unfortunately, it is somewhat of a foreign language to those who still don’t get it.

Out In The Cold

The Paris Agreement was signed in 2016 within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, dealing with greenhouse-gas-emissions mitigation, adaptation, and finance.

POTUS has begun to withdraw the United States from the Paris Agreement. This is the first formal step in a one-year process to exit the global pact to fight climate change. However, defying Trump, American governors who represent over half the U.S. population pledge to uphold the Paris climate agreement.

According to UN scientists, global emissions are reaching record levels and show no sign of peaking. The past four years were the four hottest on record, and Winter temperatures in the Arctic have risen by 3°C since 1990.

Sea levels are rising, coral reefs are dying, and we are starting to see the life-threatening impact of climate change on our health, through air pollution, heatwaves and risks to food security.

The Governor of New Jersey and Newark’s Mayor appear to be covering up the seriousness and health severity of lead poisoning. #WeThePeople have seen the exact same chain of events in Flint, Michigan.

While music superstars took to the stage during MTV’s Video Music Awards at Newark’s Prudential Center, protesters outside clashed with police, hoping to draw attention to Newark’s ongoing struggle for clean drinking water. Police thwarted activists, but dozens rushed a public plaza alongside the venue and heckled people waiting on line to get inside.

The name Russia is derived from Rus', a medieval state populated mostly by the East Slavs. However, this name became more prominent in the later history, and the country typically was called by its inhabitants "Русская Земля", which can be translated as "Russian Land" or "Land of Rus" Soon to be known as the homeland of radioactivity following another nuclear accident.
