Have you ever wondered how many languages are spoken in the world? If you had to guess, you might say or guess 7777.

I speak two fluently, how about you? When people are asked to list how many languages there are to their knowledge, the average is only around 10. That’s because most people are psychologically predisposed to be aware of only the most commonly used or learned languages around them. And the number of written languages in the world is yet another question altogether.

This building houses the City Island Community Center, and Nautical Museum as well as 16 units for The Nautical Winds Condominium.

When we have a rain storm, the entire lobby floor floods and the water seems into the units. Furthermore, for the past two decades, this former public school building has had a few deaths. Some allegedly by natural causes and others not so much. This place was a former home to the likes of Lisa, Edwin, David, Mary…etc.

The most dangerous countries to visit in 2023 are Afghanistan, Central African Republic, Iraq, Libya, Mali, Somalia, South Sudan, Syria, Ukraine and Yemen according to the latest Travel Risk Map, an interactive tool produced by security specialists at International SOS.

This weekend commemorated the birth of Cuba's principal patriot and freedom fighter against the Spanish in the War of Independence.

José Julián Martí Pérez was a Cuban nationalist, poet, philosopher, essayist, journalist, translator, professor, publisher, and  Cuba's national hero because of his role in the liberation of his country from Spain. He was also an important figure in Latin American literature.
