The Bully Pulpit was a phrase coined after Republican President Theodore Roosevelt utilized it in the White House.

The presidency is a powerful platform from which to persuasively advocate an agenda. @realdonaldtrump has apparently been using this tactic with some success until one day when it finally catches up with him.

From trade wars with US closest allies to attempting to tame China, North Korea, and perhaps Russia, Trump is convinced that bullying pays off in huge dividends. However, FLOTUS, who hasn't been seen in public for weeks claims she doesn't condone it.

Poor People's Campaign

The Poor People's March on Washington is reigniting after all these years and it needs everyone's tender loving care. It began as a 1968 effort to gain economic justice for poor people in the USA.

It was organized by Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, and carried out under the leadership of Ralph Abernathy in the wake of King's assassination.

Clergy members, community activists, people of different backgrounds and economic status come together to continue the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Spelling Bee Comes Serious

Will they be asked to spell Obstruction O-B-S-T-R-U-C-T-I-O-N when dozens of 41 young spelling bees buzz around The Scripps in National Harbor, Maryland?

The 41 of finalists range in ages 8-15 were once part of a larger group of 516. The largest beehive to buzz for sweet success.

The victorious bee will receive $40K and a trophy, with live TV, begins tonight at 8:30 ET on ESPN.

Meanwhile, down the rod a bit there appears to be real Obstruction of Justice in all day and all night long. as the investigation grows longer and the case keeps getting stronger.

Manhattanhenge NYC

Manhattanhenge also called the Manhattan Solstice, is an event when sunsets or sunrise is aligned with the east-west streets of the main street grid of Manhattan, New York City.

They each occur a couple of times a year, on dates evenly spaced around the summer solstice and winter solstice. The sunset alignment can be seen around May 28 and around July 13.

The sunrise alignment occurs around December 5 and around January 8.
