My Tocayo likes to tell it like it is. Robert De Niro, who is considered to be one of the greatest American actors of all time, was born in New York City, to artists Virginia Admiral and Robert De Niro Sr. His paternal grandfather was of Italian descent, and his other ancestry is Irish, Dutch, English, French, and German.

The native New Yorker, De Niro gave an amazing graduation speech to NYU grads AT Tisch School of the Arts' commencement telling the students they would have a hard time finding jobs after graduation.

A non jury trial in Cleveland has found police officer Michael Brelo not guilty. A judge ruled that Cleveland police officer Michael Brelo was not guilty in the deaths of two unarmed people in a 137-shot barrage of police gunfire.

However, US Justice Department officials have determined that Cleveland police for years engaged in a pattern of using excessive force and vow to investigate. The deaths of Timothy Russell and Malissa Williams, both black, were included in a 2014 US Department of Justice report that called for a federal monitor to oversee the Cleveland Police Department.

POSITIVE ME

Strengths are built-in capacities for certain thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Everyone has these capacities to one degree or another. Our particular pattern of strengths is part of what makes us unique.

When we play from our strengths, we're likely to feel more energetic and perform better than when trying to use a capacity that comes less naturally. For example, one person trying to influence a local condo board to do the right thing might have the strength to speak up forcefully and clearly at a general meeting despite the almost-universal fear of public speaking. Another person strong in team-building might feel uncomfortable speaking out in a meeting but could successfully build consensus among owners, and others to weigh the issue and come to a decision.

Positive emotions have been linked with better health, longer life, and greater well-being in numerous scientific studies. On the other hand, chronic anger, worry, and hostility increase the risk of developing heart disease, as people react to these feelings with raised blood pressure and stiffening of blood vessels. But it isn’t easy to maintain a healthy, positive emotional state.
