NEPAL NEEDS GLOBAL AID

Another massive earthquake shook Nepal, sending people in the capital Kathmandu rushing out on to the streets just weeks after a devastating quake killed more than 8,000 people and destroyed hundreds of thousands of homes.

The earthquake had a magnitude of 7.3 and struck 68 km (about 42 miles) west of the town of Namche Bazar, close to Mount Everest and the border with Tibet. It was felt as far apart as New Delhi and Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.

NYC TOPS ON GLOBAL WASTE

NYC is the world’s most wasteful mega-city. Besides being a consumerist utopia where people buy, and throw away, a staggering amount of stuff, it is also a densely populated, steadily aging city.

Faucets, toilets, or pipes, are constantly leaking. An armada of commerce-beckoning lights are always on and a fleet of gas-guzzling cars still clog our crosstown traffic and city roadways.

Nearly twenty million New Yorkers use more energy, suck down more water, and spew out more solid waste than any other mega-metropolitan area on earth.

Forget about weight loss... TODAY is Eat everything you want Day!

You can eat whatever you want, isn't that enough cause for celebration? Everyone is different, so for some people, this will mean pigging out on junk food. To stop counting calories and go berserk, eating everything from ice cream to chocolate to cake and pie, and then some cookies with ice cream washed down with hot chocolate, and then some ice cream cake. You get the picture.

OUR MOTHERS gave birth to us, which basically proves her mystic childbearing powers. May God bless MoM, who put us on this planet, for the universe to worship and emulate.

Please, take a moment to reflect, or if she is still alive, to enjoy your celebration on Mother’s Day this Sunday, as well as every other day of the year. Carrie Underwood - Mama's Song https://youtu.be/bpFW4Yhy08k?list=PL1F5FBE70B89D910

No way, its too early for Hurricane Season. The Official Hurricane season in the Atlantic begins June 1st and ends November 30th. The Eastern Pacific hurricane season begins May 15th and also ends November 30th.

Weather records dating back to 1950 indicate that a typical year will bring 12 tropical storms with sustained winds of 39 mph, of which six turn into hurricanes with winds reaching 74 mph or greater, and three major hurricanes category 3 or higher with sustained winds of at least 111 mph. OK... What's going on this season, folks?
