US government has approved the first ferry service in decades between the United States and Cuba, opening a new path for the hundreds of thousands of people and hundreds of millions of dollars in goods that travel between US and Cuba. The New York metropolitan area has the second largest Cuban-American population in the United States, second to Miami.

Baja Ferries received a license from the U.S. Treasury Department, along with Havana Ferry Partners, United Caribbean Lines and Airline Brokers. However, there is no announcement from officials in Cuba.

Watch out and try to stay away from bearded men. Fidel Castro, Santa and others who have long had facial hair might be dirtier than you may have ever realized.

Microbiologists in Albuquerque, N.M. recently found that men's facial hair can contain as much bacteria as your average toilet seat, according to Action 7 News. John Golobic, a microbiologist with Quest Diagnostics, swabbed a group of bearded men and analyzed the results to see how dirty the beards were. Golobic said that some of the men's facial hair contained bacteria that you would commonly find in a toilet.
