Our introduction to Spring plans to bring more snow, and slush. This will make for treacherous and stormy trails on First Day of Spring.

NY, NJ and CT residents have waited eagerly for Spring, but it may be marred by a slushy, wintry storms and wicked weather no one wants.

Long Island Sound area residents may see as much as 6 inches of accumulation before Friday evening. A slushy 4 inches are probable in New York City, on Long Island and in parts of New Jersey. NYC has issued a snow alert ahead of the storm. Friday are expected to cap out at slightly above the freezing mark.

Bibi's Victory or Defeat?

Benjamin Netanyahu may have won the Israeli elections, but will Obama and UN respond? Efforts leading to an Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement have apparently gone out the window.

Despite the collective failure of Israelis, Palestinians and the international community to advance a political solution with the Palestinian People, global forces must now be mobilized.

In order for the world to move forward, Israel must stop constructing settlements. Meanwhile, Palestine’s increased efforts with the International Criminal Court are aimed at establishing that illegal practice.

Museum Massacre

Armed terrorists are responsible for a museum massacre after they stormed a Tunisia museum and reportedly killed around 20. French speaking sources say 22 and English language accounts say 18, according to published reports.

Security forces swept in, killed two gunmen, freed the remaining hostages and launched a manhunt for more perpetrators. A total of 36 injured individuals may have been transported to local hospitals.

El Niño

Due to the weak strength of the El Niño, widespread or significant global weather pattern impacts are not anticipated. However, certain impacts often associated with El Niño may appear this spring in parts of the Northern Hemisphere, such as wetter-than-normal conditions along the U.S. Gulf Coast.

RIP Explorer

Internet Explorer, a Microsoft browser familiar to many finally passed away today after an extended illness. Explorer was 19 years old.

Microsoft decided to remove it from life support. Explorer will continue to receive tech support through at 2016. Internet Explorer is survived by family members Windows, Office, and the Microsoft Mouse.

Explorer will be remembered for browser technology and for bringing Web surfing to the masses.
