The US war on Afghanistan has so far lasted 10 years and counting. We count lives, we count costs and Americans continue to count This war has outlasted the Civil War and The Vietnam War. Billions have been poured into Afghanistan, while The Taliban have been forced out of power and Osama bin Laden has been killed.
What are we waiting for? This U.S.-led war on Afghanistan began back on October 7, 2011, with an air campaign that was followed by a ground invasion.

Dr. Noel Zahler, a highly respected composer, researcher and administrator, who has led departments, schools of music and interdisciplinary programs at universities across the nation, started his hew job as LIU Dean of the School of Visual and Performing Arts at the C.W. Post Campus.
