A "devil with a red tie" is a popular culture image of Satan wearing a business suit and a red tie to appear sophisticated. The red color symbolizes the devil's association with authority, and power, while the tie adds a modern, almost corporate, twist to this classic character.
Fashion becomes theology. Clothing and personal style are deeply significant cultural phenomena that reflect and express a person's core beliefs, identity, and worldview, much like religious expression.

Can we all agree that anyone who supports cruelty isn’t pro-life? They’re abandoning the very humanity they claim to defend. Is this a reason why there’s the separation of church and state? blocked the Trump administration from firing thousands of federal employees amidst the ongoing government shutdown. A federal judge has ruled that the administration is causing irreparable harm and that the human cost is intolerable.

Why do most women live much longer than their male counterparts regardless of geographical location? Women are the leaders when it comes to extreme longevity, with all 10 oldest recorded people being female, while men’s maximum verified lifespans are several years shorter. Globally, the average life expectancy gap between women and men is between 5 and 7 years, though it varies by country.
For example:
In Japan: 87 (women) vs. 81 (men)
In the U.S.: 80 (women) vs. 74 (men)

Nearly 8 million reportedly participated in the No Kings demonstrations. All these folks were at the right place and certainly at the right time. Truth walked straight into power —not socially —and refused to bow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvgZkm1xWPE
These lyrics refer to revolutions, about kings, queens, emperors, and other rulers who fall from high places after revolutions. The French Revolution, the Chinese Revolution, the Russian Revolution, and the British and US Civil Wars. Each revolution overthrew a powerful central government, with a powerful head of state in a violent and bloody fashion (think "heads on a silver plate"). These lyrics are telling their stories from the point of view of the fallen leader, in a very poetic way, but the message is essentially "Oh, who would ever want to be king?" Because revolutions have occurred over and over in history, and they will continue to occur, but such is the story of life and of humanity.

And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right."
~1984, George Orwell
The Republicans are trying to manufacture an image of an irredeemably violent American left. They think voters will forget about January Six by attempting to rewrite history. https://amp.miamiherald.com/opinion/letters-to-the-editor/article312527…

I am an analog native living in a digital world. While reviewing my saved images and music library, I've put together a list to contribute to the Internet Archive. I found this image, captured on the Staten Island Ferry, on my way to enjoy a Jethro Tull concert at Snug Harbor Cultural Center, Staten Island, NY, USA, on August 28, 2001. Thirteen days before that fateful and infamous day on September 11, I was there to enjoy their latest songs, not knowing it would be the last time I saw the World Trade Center.
