Daylight Saving is helping folks out a heck of a lot less than most people think it is, so why not eliminate it once and for all?
Nearly 8 million reportedly participated in the No Kings demonstrations. All these folks were at the right place and certainly at the right time. Truth walked straight into power —not socially —and refused to bow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvgZkm1xWPE
These lyrics refer to revolutions, about kings, queens, emperors, and other rulers who fall from high places after revolutions. The French Revolution, the Chinese Revolution, the Russian Revolution, and the British and US Civil Wars. Each revolution overthrew a powerful central government, with a powerful head of state in a violent and bloody fashion (think "heads on a silver plate"). These lyrics are telling their stories from the point of view of the fallen leader, in a very poetic way, but the message is essentially "Oh, who would ever want to be king?" Because revolutions have occurred over and over in history, and they will continue to occur, but such is the story of life and of humanity.
Donald Trump vowed to fire military leaders ''right on the spot" as he left for a high-stakes and mysterious military summit with his top generals in Virginia. Then, military brass hears a partisan presentation from Trump and Hegseth.

Adams is out of the race.

As a former Miami reporter, I have never seen anything like this. I am stunned by the latest South Florida GOP act of sabotage.
Has the Cuban dictatorship moved to Miami as city leaders flip the government in the Sunshine State on its head, as leaders' thirst for power turns into a mouse?
Millions of Americans gathered at thousands of locations throughout the USA to demonstrate, but not 3.5 percent yet.

America is celebrating California Governor Gavin Newsom's recent political transformation and fiery speech confronting Donald Trump. Newsom has reached a critical turning point. An EFF IT moment, where he abandons traditional political caution and directly challenges Trump’s tactics with bold, aggressive countermeasures. Newsom gave an 8-minute speech filled with controlled anger and escalating rhetorical punches, likened to metaphorically hitting Trump with "Mike Tyson's law", that “everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.”
The speech as the first truly adult and powerful Democratic response to Trump’s behavior. Newsom is evolving from a mild political figure to a forceful leader—the “Resistance,” the embodiment of the Democratic Party’s fight to preserve democracy. His most dramatic move was threatening to withhold California’s $692 billion in federal tax contributions, which is an economic "civil war game-ender." Governor Newsom is stepping into a national leadership role at a crucial time, potentially becoming a central figure in defending American democracy.
His pen is smaller than average but admitted she was impressed it had his name embossed in gold on it.
