Fewer Hispanics

The first Latina elected to Congress, Republican Florida Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen announced that she's retiring after more than three decades in elected office.

Ros-Lehtinen became the first GOP member of the House to support same-sex marriage. She proposes legislation making US funding for the UN contingent on extensive reform. Her bill will also call for the United States to withdraw from the UNHRC, and she says that Israel is the only country on the council's permanent agenda, while abuses by rogue regimes like Cuba, China, and Syria are ignored.

Principle's Office

Submitted by Admin on

The President has reported to the principle's office immediately since he is desperately seeking any substantial legislative activity before his self-imposed 100th days in office deadline.

He now plans to unveil the outline in principle of proposed tax reforms plan while Congress is concerned about the budget deficits. White house toppers refuse to discuss the details, only to say they seek to cut the corporate tax rate and simplify the tax codes.

From Russia With...

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking into links between Trump's associates and Russia.
Director James Comey is investigating possible links and coordination between Russia and associates of President Donald Trump as part of a broader probe of Russian interference in last year's presidential campaign.

This announcement is part of a wider investigation that began last summer examining Russian influence and possible connections between Moscow and Trump's campaign.

Don't Be Fooled

Please... don't be fooled by the lies, false accusations without proof, and outrageous comments. None of this is designed to make America great, but it can be a political smokescreen to take our attention away from important issues that our country faces.

Truth be told, I did not write all of this... These thoughts and ideas come from me and a variety of social media platforms and through shared circles.

BILL THE WALL TO US?

Submitted by Admin on

Tweeting that the dishonest media does not report any money spent on building the Great Wall (for sake of speed), will be paid back by Mexico later, but not offering any proof or details on how he will accomplish it. Some may wonder who is really being dishonest?

It appears that it is much easier to make statements one day and then different the next day. The Donald has said that he knows more than others and points fingers but it is more difficult to explain in detail the specifics than to make general comments like -Lock Her Up, Repeal and Replace Mexico Will Pay for The Wall and so many others, but never following up with specific facts, or data.

WHO NEEDS ETHICS?

The GOP party has already started without an RSVP and there's not turning back America.
Who was it who promised to drain the swamp? Republicans have apparently decided they don't need not stinking ethics committee.

Electoral College

Election Day is less than one month away. And while candidates fight for your vote, it’s important to know what happens after you cast it.

US voters don’t vote directly for a presidential candidate. The process, as laid out by the founding fathers, is a little longer and more complex. USAGov can help you understand where your presidential vote goes after you pull the lever on Election Day.

Clean Sweep

GOP-controlled US Congress is drinking a toxic brew of political polarization and gerrymandering that has the legislative body gridlocked and institutionally exists from one crisis to another.

The Republican Party does not deserve to be in charge. They have shut the government down at times and refuse to vote on legislation and presidential appointments.

USA can't afford to drag its feet any longer, we have gone without a properly functioning government for the last 8 years due to this obstruction. All apparently because the republicans were unhappy with a black president.

This is holding our country back. It is almost impossible to pass legislation it's all frozen up.

We need to break the logjam and Flip the Congress.

In the Senate, it would only take a change of 5 seats to Flip the Senate.

In the House, it would only take a change of 30 seats to Flip the House of Representatives.

All You have to do is Vote.

If you have difficulty getting to the poll to Vote use an Absentee Ballot.
