Crime Doesn't Pay

CRIME DOES NOT PAY was the title of an American comic book series published during the 40s and 50s by creator Lev Gleason.

The phrase saying 'crime doesn't pay is the view that punishment rather than profit is the ultimate consequence of corruption.

This proverb crime doesn't pay is an example of a Victorian saying meant to encourage morality and work. It was something that, for the smooth working of society, the authorities would like the populace to believe rather than a time-tested encapsulation of human wisdom.

Please keep in mind that I have no political affiliation, but I was once recruited and worked for Republican President George HW Bush's administration. However, believe me when I say there is nothing grand about the new GOP. However, victory or accepting defeat without honor is destructive.

Attention all INFO a-holes. Lies damaging particular individuals aren’t constitutionally protected, but lies about the state of the world are. For example: if you keep saying #COVID isn’t real is protected by the First Amendment. However, spreading lies about a doctor treating COVID patients is NOT.

Sherlock Holmes solved a “Silver Blaze” because witnesses said a dog did not bark. The suspect knew the deceased.

The same logic applies to former US President Donald Trump’s behavior by the House Committee investigating the insurrection of January 6, 2021.
