Put Up or Shut Up

The phrase says don't mess with Texas and everything is bigger in the Longhorn State as its fixing to hold the nation’s first primary election of 2018.

Early voting turnout has GOP weary and worried. Democratic turnout for the 2018 midterm primaries in the state's 15 largest counties was twice as high as the totals in 2014, outstripping the Republicans in urban counties in the GOP stronghold.

Fake News US Election

A new study suggests @realDonaldTrump may owe his 2016 @POTUS so-called victory in the Electoral College to 'fake news', according to concerns raised by Erik C. Nisbet, Associate Professor of Communication, Political Science, and Environmental Policy and Faculty Associate with the Mershon Center for International Security Studies, The Ohio State University, Paul Beck, Professor Emeritus of Political Science, The Ohio State University, and Richard Gunther, Professor Emeritus of Political Science, The Ohio State University.

US Being Attacked

The Russians are here, have attacked and will continue to do so until we stop them. This is the warning issued by our top leaders.

Why is the president intent on distracting the nation by attacking NFL players, the free press and others?

Statement for the Record: Worldwide Threat Assessment of the US Intelligence Community by Director of National Intelligence, Daniel R. Coats http://bit.ly/2Gcq843

DNI Coats: "Frankly, the United States is under attack. Under attack by entities that are using cyber to penetrate virtually every major action that takes place in the United States."

Putin On The Hit

Actions over the past few days have undermined the right’s Trump-Russia conspiracy theory and its headed in the wrong direction.

Furthermore, a Nunes authored Congressional memo contradicts a right-wing belief about what prompted the investigation into the President’s ties to Russia.

Election Day Votes

Happy daze are here again, so let us hope there is no suspicious activity surrounding this one and while today's races may not have anywhere near the buzz as a presidential election, there are plenty seats and important issues at stake.

Voters from many cities and states around this great country will vote for their chosen local representatives, while New Jersey and Virginia will choose their next governors. The battle for Virginia's governor will be of particular interest as many are calling it a bellwether for Trump's impact on midterm elections in 2018.

Don't Be Rushing US

What is the reason for the Trump administration's tiny steps toward imposing sanctions targeting Moscow under a new US law by sending Congress a list of entities linked to the defense and intelligence arms of the Russian government?

It is the world’s largest nation, and perhaps POTUS has a vision many Americans have yet to see, like the fact that Russian borders European and Asian countries as well as the Pacific and Arctic oceans. Its landscape ranges from tundra and forests to subtropical beaches.

Russian roulette or any other lethal games of chance in which an American government leader pulls the trigger.

This practice of loading a bullet into one chamber of a revolver, spinning the cylinder, and then pulling the trigger while pointing the gun at one's own head is not only an activity that is extremely dangerous, but this nation has endured many difficulties and our patriots have sacrificed too much blood to allow any foreign power to interfere.

WOMEN RULE

Submitted by ub on

Women suffrage is the right of women to vote in elections. Limited voting rights were gained by women in Finland, Iceland, Sweden and some Australian colonies and western U.S. states in the late 19th century.

The 19th Amendment to the US Constitution granted American women the right to vote, which is a right known as woman suffrage. At the time the US was founded, its female citizens did not share the same rights as men, including the right to vote.
