POTUS appeared with Americans held overseas but did he conveniently forget to mention Otto?

President Donald Trump offered a pre-recorded video message during the RNC joined by Americans held abroad and  detained by foreign governments released during his time in office.

Michael White, freed by Iran in June, and Pastor Andrew Brunson, who was arrested in Turkey and released in 2018 and four others. Trump has repeatedly touted his efforts to get Americans held overseas freed.

The crazier he gets, the more the pressure will rise on US Congress and the American public to do something serious about it.

I was born in the Republic of Cuba, a nation comprising the main island as well as Isla de la Juventud and several minor archipelagos. Cuba is located in the northern Caribbean where the Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean meet up.

Years later I was recruited by George HW Bush to lead the electronic Bay of Pigs named TV Martí which has been ineffective.

Welcome to the mourning after. Do you smell the Covfefe brewing on Capitol Hill? The US Department of Justice offers no timetable on the release of the Mueller report to Congress.

Can you imagine if the Starr Report had been provided only to President Bill Clinton's Attorney General, Janet Reno, who claimed she read it read it in two days and published a 4-page cliff notes concluding that President Clinton committed no crimes?

POTUS War on Latinos and a Caravan is NOT the most pressing issue in this election. The Democrats do not support open borders and the reason why ICE gets a bad rap is about those kids who have still been detained hundreds of days after the court ordered them released. This is also a war on many woman and children.

Nearly 200 years ago, in 1823, President James Monroe's doctrine prevented imperial powers foreign to our Western Hemisphere from acquiring territories anywhere in The Americas or seeking undue influence. This was the cornerstone of #USA grand strategy.

American foreign influence once referred to how we behaved towards other nations. Now we're told there are countries turning the tables on us and global leaders like Russia and now China dares interfere in our internal affairs.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I should point out that I was born in Cuba. However, when I left my homeland there was no Internet.

Now more than 5 million cell phone users in Cuba have received free internet, in an eight-hour test before the government launched sales of the service.
