Years ago, I had the opportunity to watch and listen to Hendrix play his ax as no one had ever done before. Besides being a wild thing and fabulous performer, I later found out that guitarist Jimi Hendriks was brave enough to serve in the military when his time arrived.

The Democrats are about to announce the ticket for Joe Biden's VP candidate and the winner is a real qualified intelligent woman.

They are the Democratic Party’s most reliable and loyal voters, but for generations, that allegiance didn’t translate to their own political rise. But that was then and the time is here and now for all to see and hear.

Kamikaze, officially Tokubetsu Kōgekitai, were Special Attack Units of aviators who initiated suicide missions against the enemy.

This great nation reportedly needs a real nominating process that minimizes another kamikaze POTUS and maximizes the probability of selecting plausible presidents. Trump ran on protecting Social Security and Medicare but his actions are the total opposite.

Do you remember this one? We realize the price of postage has increased, but so what, so has everything else in the USA.

It seems fitting that on the only day in which regular mail does not arrive our way, I want to say that I have spoken with Democrats, Republicans, and Independents, and the one this they all agree on is that USPS has significantly slowed to a snail pace. Thereby coining the phrase, snail mail.

Prepare For Sextilis

The month of August is the eighth of the year in the Julian and Gregorian calendars, and the fifth of seven months to have a length of 31 days.

August was originally named Sextilis in Latin because it was the sixth month in the original ten-month Roman calendar under Romulus in 753 BC, with March being the first month of the year.

August or Sextills, whichever you happen to prefer is going to be a humdinger. It does not appear to look like a good month for #USA.

The hot ocean waters along USA East Coast are drawing in weird fish and supercharging hurricane winds. Hurricanes are one of nature’s most powerful storms.

Opinion/Adult Language

Who has been consuming compost for years, which is turning into a visible form of manure and finally begins to overflow?

According to experts, a balance of greens and browns is needed to create the proper environment for composting to occur. Greens are nitrogen-rich and include items such as grass in golf courses, clippings, fruit and vegetable waste, and coffee grounds. Browns could be chocolate cake, and perhaps those carbon-rich hamburgers he likes to devour.
