The hearing was called to allow former acting Attorney General Sally Yates to testify to a Senate panel that she warned the White House that Michael Flynn could be blackmailed by the Russians. Former DNI Director James Clapper also warned that Russian meddling in U.S. elections will continue.

I have often watched or encountered age discrimination especially in the media and technical fields. Unfortunately, the frat-boy culture of Silicon Valley has only gotten younger and cockier.

The President likes to attack reputable news organizations, which have existed long before his immigrant relatives entered this country. We ask where is all the fake news you are referring to? Prove it's fake. Words matter and Trump has to be more careful because the world is paying attention. They’re listening to everything he’s saying. They’re trying to figure out how to interpret him. At a campaign rally, Mr. Trump made a reference to Sweden when talking about terrorist attacks and problems with migration.

President Obama calls the threat of voter fraud 'fake news,' saying The USA is the only democracy that makes it harder and not easier to vote. Voter fraud and the claim of a rigged election have been disproved as fake news.

It was not true in 2011 when The Donald began to question President Obama’s birthplace aloud in television interviews. “I’m starting to think that he was not born here,” he said at the time.

Leaders say Trump has no sense of shame. The Donald 'a national disgrace' who engages in illegal acts.

Narcissist or Egomaniac?

We all start out as narcissistic babies and as we grow up we progress in our personal development we outgrow our narcissism.

Although there are important differences, sometimes it is difficult to distinguish a high-functioning narcissist from an egomaniac. The two are interrelated. Every narcissist has a big ego but not every person with a big ego is a narcissist.

WOMEN RULE

Women suffrage is the right of women to vote in elections. Limited voting rights were gained by women in Finland, Iceland, Sweden and some Australian colonies and western U.S. states in the late 19th century.

The 19th Amendment to the US Constitution granted American women the right to vote, which is a right known as woman suffrage. At the time the US was founded, its female citizens did not share the same rights as men, including the right to vote.

DIGITAL KNOWLEDGE

A new publication discusses the role of technology in sharing and preserving Indigenous Knowledge for future generations. In “Sharing and Preserving Indigenous Knowledge of the Arctic Using Information and Communications Technology,” researchers Heidi McCann and Peter Pulsifer from the Exchange for Local Observations and Knowledge of the Arctic at the National Snow and Ice Data Center, and Carolina Behe from the Inuit Circumpolar Council-Alaska analyze how digital technologies afford and impact the preservation of documented Indigenous Knowledge while maintaining cultural significance and intellectual property rights.
