Given the severity of the Delta variant, the USA health officials from CDC have once again asked everyone - unvaccinated and vaccinated - to use a mask indoors in high-risk areas - which is most of the country. The virus does not distinguish between countries, Remember and do not forget.

The opening ceremony inside eerily empty stadium seats. Let the weirdness begin. The first reviews of the fan-less Olympics are in, and after watching The Parade of Nations on television we can say this event may be somewhat underwhelming.

But as they say, the show must go on. This term is used to say that an event must continue even though there are problems, and boy there sure is, the elephant in the stadium... The global pandemic.

Doubts continue to mount about the Russian Sputnik V COVID vaccine's efficacy dissipated somewhat last year within Scientists.

The technology used for Sputnik V was reportedly similar to the approach from Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca. The Russians reported It uses adenoviruses, essentially cold viruses, as vectors to ferry genetic instructions for the coronavirus-like protein to the body’s cells, causing the immune system to makes antibodies to this protein and thereby conferring protection.

Do you remember when the former guy used The White House bully pulpit to say the virus would magically disappear and there was no reason to fear? The same buffoon's incompetence led to 600K American deaths from #COVID, claims that windmills kill everything.

Over half a million #Americans have died in #USA. Many are workers, nurses, doctors because they have put themselves in a position to save other people’s lives and protect the rest of society. Not all these lives had to perish and we know who is at fault.
