Rhythm keeps the breath in music and I am old enough to have friends who’ve considered themselves former beatniks.

A fine late drummer who comes to mind is the one some called a drum god and Buddy Rich called him the inspiration for every big-name drummer in the business. He was Gene Krupa, the king of swing.

Listening and reading the credits of any Steely Dan album shows the names of some of the best musicians of the last six decades. Also, numerous musicians who became famous outside of their work with Steely Dan, like Dire Straits’ Mark Knopfler, Rick Derringer, Toto’s Jeff Porcaro and David Paich, Eagles’ Timothy B. Schmit, and Patti Austin, just to name a few.

it is not only illegal, but it can be dangerous to them as well as others. Impaired driving can cause accidents that lead to paralysis, disfigurement, brain damage, and even death.

Impaired driving is also a crime. Drunk drivers often pay significant fines, lose their licenses, and face higher insurance costs.

The FAB FOUR never took themselves too seriously. That’s why you can find numerous instances throughout their songs where they snuck in some sneaky in-jokes and references that might slip right by you in case you’re not listening too closely.
